The official release of the Intel Arc A580 Graphics Card
The Arc A580 desktop graphics
card has been formally unveiled by Intel and will be sold starting today in
brick-and-mortar stores and online.
This desktop graphics card is
categorized by Intel as a low-cost mid-range card and is built on the same Xe
HPG Alchemist architecture as the Arc A750 and Arc A770 graphics cards.
Arc580 graphics card specifications:
The Intel Arc A580 graphics board has 24 cores, 384 EUs, and 3072 ALUs, and it is clocked at a maximum boost frequency of up to 2400 MHz, which is comparable to the high-end Intel Arc A770 and Arc A750 graphics boards.
The official graphics frequency of the board is 1700 MHz.
All three of the customized devices have an out-of-the-box operating frequency
of 2000 MHz, which is an 18% improvement over base rates. The Arc A580 graphics
card will include a 256-bit bus interface, 8GB of GDDR6 memory, a maximum
bandwidth of 512GB/s, and an overall power consumption of 185W.
The TSMC foundries produce the
ACM-G10 GPU chip with a die size of 406 square mm and a precision of 6
nanometers. It should be noted that only 6 of the 8 Render Slices are active,
resulting in the activation of 24 of the 32 Xe cores, resulting in the delivery
of 21.7 billion transistors.
Depending on the game and frame
rate, the Arc A580 graphics card can run games at 1080p display resolution with
medium to high graphics settings. The graphics card complies with DirectX 12
Ultimate's feature requirements.
Arc580 graphics card performance:
The performance of the Arc580 graphics
card is good, according to Intel's graphics, especially after turning on the Xe
Super Sampling function, which significantly raises the frame rate. This
technology, which is competitive with NVIDIA DLSS technology, uses an
artificial intelligence-based algorithm to improve the quality of graphics
scenes while simultaneously raising the frame rate.
Preliminary tests indicate that
the Arc A580 card can compete with the RTX 3050 graphics card and exceeds it by
18% to 20%, nearly matching the performance of the RTX 2070 card.
The card is available from
manufacturers ASRock, GUNNIR, and upcoming Sparkle for $179 in professional,
non-standard designs; the card will not be offered in the conventional Intel
design.
